Here are the answers to some questions that we often receive from our guests.

Regarding accommodation

Q. What time can I check in? Is there any curfew with regard to when I can head outside?

A. You can check in from 3:00 PM. There is no curfew after you have checked in.

Q. Is there a parking lot?

A. Yes, a free parking lot is available.
*Please use the free parking lot in the vicinity if our parking lot is full.

Q. Are courier services available?

A. Yes, courier services are available. Delivery via Kuroneko Yamato (payment by cash-on-delivery) is available.

Q. Can I have my luggage delivered to you the day before my stay?

A. Yes, you can. Please indicate the date of your stay and the name of the guest under whom your reservation was made.

Q. Can I pay for my stay by credit card?

A. Yes, you can. We accept the following credit cards: VISA, JCB, Mastercard, and PayPay. 

*Please note that our connection may be unstable as our accommodation is located in a mountainous area. In the event that we experience issues processing your payment, we may request you to make your payment via a different method. We appreciate your understanding in this regard.

Q. Is there a convenience store nearby?

A. If you are driving, you can find a 7-Eleven around 20 minutes from our accommodation. There is a store near our accommodation, but it closes at around 9:00 PM. (The operating hours vary depending on the season.)

Regarding meals

Q. What time are meals served?

A. Breakfast is prepared based on your departure time.
Dinner is usually served at 6:00 PM, but we will provide you with more details on the day during check-in at the front desk.

Q. Do you serve kids' lunch?

A. We serve kids' lunch for children up to elementary school age. (Reservations required)
For breakfast, both children and adults will be served the same menu.

Regarding hot springs

Q. Can we enjoy the hot springs as a day trip?

A. Unfortunately, the hot springs are currently closed as part of our COVID-19 safety precautions.

Regarding amenities

Q. Is Internet access available?

A. All guest rooms are equipped with Wi-Fi access.

Q. Are there vending machines?

A.1 There are vending machines at the entrance on the first floor.

Regarding sightseeing

Q. How long does it take for a round trip to Kurobe Dam and Murodo?

A. A round trip to Kurobe Dam takes around 8 to 9 hours. A round trip to Murodo takes around 5 to 7 hours.

Q. What is the temperature like and what should I wear?

A. The temperature here is around 12℃ to 15℃ lower than the temperature at ground level.

Q. If I am driving, what is the furthest point I can drive the car?

A. You can drive to Tateyama Station.

Q. How can I purchase tickets?

A. You can purchase tickets for the day at Tateyama Station.
You can also purchase tickets in advance through the online ticket reservation system.

Q. What time does the ticket office open?

A. It opens 40 minutes before the first lift departs.
